Why Primora exists
We started with one simple frustration.
Too many oils were being sold with rushed preparation, unclear methods, heavy heating, and claims that sounded bigger than the care behind them.
We wanted something quieter and better: oils prepared with more discipline, more clarity, and more respect for what people actually put on their hair, scalp, and skin.

Why cold-pressed matters
Heat can increase output. It can also reduce what makes oils valuable.
In oil extraction, hotter or more aggressive processing can improve output, but gentler pressing is often favored when the goal is to better preserve an oil's natural properties and bioactive profile.
That matters because some heat-sensitive compounds in oils can be reduced during higher-temperature processing or prolonged heating. For us, that is reason enough to respect the material instead of rushing it.

Choosing by porosity
Hair does not respond the same way — so oils should not be chosen the same way.
Hair porosity affects how quickly strands take in and hold moisture. That is one reason why the "one oil for everyone" approach often disappoints.
Low porosity
Hair tends to resist absorption. Lighter-feeling oils and careful application usually make more sense than heavy layering.
Medium porosity
Hair generally absorbs and retains moisture reasonably well. This is usually the most flexible category.
High porosity
Hair often takes in moisture quickly but loses it faster. Richer, more sealing routines may feel more supportive here.
